Course Objectives:

  • Understand the fundamentals of Food & Beverage operations in hotels, restaurants, cafés, and catering establishments.

  • Apply food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in accordance with hospitality industry regulations.

  • Prepare and serve beverages including tea, coffee, soft drinks, and basic bar drinks with correct presentation and service etiquette.

  • Use standard restaurant equipment and tools safely and efficiently in daily operations.

  • Communicate professionally with guests, handle orders accurately, and deliver high-quality customer service.

  • Understand menu knowledge, including food ingredients, allergens, and beverage pairings.

  • Handle billing and payment procedures using basic POS systems or manual billing methods.

  • Work effectively as part of a hospitality service team and follow workplace ethics and grooming standards.
